Premier's Sustainability Award 2003

The 60L Green Building has won a number of awards for excellence in sustainable design and construction.

We are particularly proud of the Premier's Sustainability Award 2003, which is open to all Victorian businesses, and is not just limited to design or construction activities.

Comments from Banksia Awards Judging Panel

60L is the leading example of green commercial building in Australia, demonstrating to the property industry that minimising a building’s impact on the environment can be commercially viable. ”60L’s innovation is in the broad range of sustainability objectives, implemented to a high degree and resulting in an attractive, healthy building.

Comments from API Awards Judging Panel

The 60L Green Building is more than just a ‘green dream’. The development team has demonstrated that real sustainability gains are possible if clever design is applied to technology that exists today.

The development team, including the future tenants of the building, have combined to produce an outstanding example of what can be achieved when a commitment to sustainability is more than just a catch phrase, but integral to the design, construction and use of a building.
